Domino.18
Experiment with the various elements to create your ideal combination and seating arrangement. Arrange (and rearrange) them in whatever way you like. Play with three different heights and create your own skyline. We’ve expanded our collection with the new round corner modules and connecting elements to reflect on the current organic trend.
Dick Spierenburg: ‘The request from Montis was to design a sofa with interchangeable elements, aiming for flexible use. A place where people can live, work, and enjoy. The result was the Domino. I chose straight forms for the seat and armrests, complemented by soft parts to lean against. With the Domino, you can constantly create new furniture. Together with Montis, I developed this model into the Domino.18. It feels even softer and can be enriched with round elements, which affects the “look and feel”. With the Domino, you can continuously change the seating landscape of your space, ensuring it remains surprising.’
DOMINO.18 has a new curve
The modular collection by Dick Spierenburg has been expanded with five elements shaped as one-eighth of a circle. The additions comprise one backrest element, two seat elements with a seat depth of 500 mm and two with a seat depth of 750 mm.
These curved shapes offer even more freedom to create a personal configuration. From a subtle bend to an inviting, curved seating area, the new elements bring movement to the interior. Combine them with the existing elements and let straight lines flow smoothly into curves.
The two seat depths accommodate both upright sitting and relaxed lounging. The generous, casual upholstery emphasises the soft character of the collection. The result is comfortable seating that invites you to gather together or simply stretch out and unwind.
With these new curved elements, the versatility of DOMINO.18 has taken on a surprising new dimension.
